WE’RE MOVING!
We have some exciting news to share - Lilypad is MOVING to a beautiful new space on East Passyunk Avenue near Mifflin Street! This move will allow us to continue growing our community and make our thrift store more accessible to families.
We are so grateful for everyone who comes to playgroups, and look forward to seeing you and your little ones in the new space! We think it's going to be amazing!
WHY?
After 10 years of playtime at our beloved S Broad Street location, our service has shifted. We now also serve families with Lilypad Thrift DAILY by accepting donations and operating a thrift store with consistent hours.
It’s time to move the shop out of the basement and make it more accessible :)
WHEN?
Over the next few months! Playgroup will run through November 31st. Lilypad thrift will keep regular hours through October. We will announce specific dates on closing and re-opening in the new space. The store will re-open first and the playspace soon after!
We hope to open fully in January 2026!
WHERE?
Lilypad’s new home will be at 1841 E Passyunk Avenue! The store will be street level (YAY) with playgroups upstairs on the second floor. There will be a separate entrance for playgroups on Iseminger street as well.
We look forward to reaching even more South Philly families!
WILL THIS EFFECT MEMBERSHIP?
Since there may be a 4-6 week without playgroups, memberships will extend to make up for any lost play time.
HOW CAN I HELP?
Keep an eye out for some upcoming fundraisers, events and volunteer opportunities.
Shop at Lilypad Thrift and attend our next sidewalk sale on September 20th from 9-1pm.
